Isaiah Johns, in efforts to finish his homework, battled the rigors of a Sunday following weekend of partying. After facing exhaustion and potential distractions, Johns toyed with failure and has fallen asleep.

Johns is an English major at Michigan State University. He’s made it a priority of his to finish his English Analysis paper on Sunday, October 30 at midnight saying "It's just something that I want to get done as soon as possible,"

In the midst of doing his homework, however, Johns impulsively got up from the couch and began dribbling his basketball in his room, thus delaying the completion time of his paper.

Only a few minutes after, Johns then decided to leave the room in order to use the bathroom. When leaving the room, he stated “Man, I have to do this homework.” Johns said.

Upon returning from the bathroom, Johns mentioned the he was considering playing video games and soon followed up by turning on his Xbox One and playing NBA 2K18.

In the midst of playing NBA 2K18, Johns then paused his game to grab his computer to seemingly continue doing homework. Johns soon solidified his action by turning his Xbox One off and saying
“Yeah I’m going to get this homework done, now.”

Approximately six minutes after assuring that the homework would be finished, Johns then followed his statement by watching the television show Atlanta on his computer

Soon after beginning watching the television show, approximately 17 minutes later, Johns fell asleep, thus diminishing the chances that his homework would be done on time.
